Hayden Power Group showed up to support the Girl Power in STEM event at Penn State Hazleton. The event brought together more than 200 students who wanted to explore careers in STEM and the trades.

We connected with students who were curious, engaged, and ready to ask real questions about their future.

Why this event matters

You could see the impact right away:

  • Students asked direct questions about trade careers

  • They explored tools and real-world applications

  • They started to picture themselves in these roles

Hands-on interaction made the difference.

Virtual reality tools helped students step into job scenarios.

Conversations with professionals gave them clarity.

What students gained

Events like this help students:

  • Understand what careers in the trades look like

When students can see and try, they start to believe.
