Apprenticeship

START YOUR ELECTRICAL CAREER

The Hayden Power Group Apprenticeship Program combines on-the-job training with related classroom theory and lab work. As a state and federally approved apprenticeship sponsor, we offer the nationally recognized "Journeyperson" credential in Electrical.

Our program is registered with the Pennsylvania Apprenticeship and Training Council as well as the United States Department of Labor. Our curriculum is certified through the National Center for Construction Education (NCCER), the most widely used construction curriculum in the United States.

The Hayden Power Group Apprenticeship Program is a four year, tuition based program. Registered apprentices receive on-the-job training totalling 8,000 hours (2,000 hours per year) in the electrical field in accord with national standards. The related classroom instruction meets the requirement of 150 hours for each year of the program. Classes are taught onsite at our office by our own certified instructors.

Wages are based on a percentage of the company's established journeyperson's rate and Registered Apprentices receive incremental increases based upon the completion of every 1,000 on-the-job training hours in the program.

The Hayden Power Group supports and models the national initiative to encourage entry into the trades by training men and women to become highly skilled and safety trained electrical professionals.
