Hayden Power Group is currently hiring for an experienced Electrical Construction Project Manager! As an experienced Electrical Construction Project Manager, you will be expected to have a thorough knowledge of all electrical tasks as needed in a commercial, industrial or residential electrical installation. You would be expected to supervise and manage all aspects of one or multiple projects including the supervision of staff including Foremen, Team Leaders, and field personnel for compliance with all project management job responsibilities and essential duties as listed below:

  • Daily leadership and management of job site foremen, leaders, crew, and assistant project manager to oversee the scope of work. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members.

  • Develop project budget, timelines, schedule of values, and monthly billings for contract projects and AIA projects. Analyze adherence to project budget through completion and implement cost control measures or change orders as needed. Track any project delays using spreadsheets, daily project manual, or Microsoft Project.

  • Manage project budget to attain maximum profitability with the use of cost codes.

  • Manage all RFIs and change orders.

  • Routinely visit job sites to manage operations and problem solve. Monitor job site and team members for safety compliance.

  • Increase productivity by coordinating manpower needs with the Director of Construction and Foremen.

  • Facilitate project goals by acting as company liaison with the general contractor and all job site subcontractors on an ongoing basis and at Job Project Meetings.

  • Cultivate positive business relationships vital to the success of the project and communicate effectively and routinely with customers, suppliers, and vendors to accomplish project goals.

  • Develop and maintain a viable working relationship with purchasing department following all purchasing procedures to ensure project equipment and material needs are met.

  • Develop and maintain a viable working relationship with the accounting department to provide relevant financial information in a timely and accurate manner for job cost reporting purposes. Approval of weekly time cards, reviewing for accuracy of time allocation and correct job posting.


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required, and/or five (5) to ten (10) years of proven experience in the industry.

  • PMP certification is a plus.

  • BIM knowledge is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of the most current National Electric Code (NEC) and NFPA70E

  • Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project

  • Proficient with contract review and analysis and interpretation and understanding of blueprints, drawings and work orders.

  • Effective managerial and administrative skills.

  • Proven team leader, problem solver and motivator with both office professionals and field personnel in mind.

  • Ability to work cooperatively with others.

  • Jobsite visits may require lifting not to exceed 50 pounds, standing, bending or reaching for extended periods of time.

  • Travel on a regular basis to local, in-state and out-of-state job sites.

Electricians are the cogs that make our machine work, providing our high-quality electrical services to customers all throughout the Central and Eastern Pennsylvania area. Ideal candidates will have outstanding customer service skills, the ability to work alone as well as with others in a team environment and be familiar with all modern electrical technology and safety codes.


  • Provide electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations for both residential and commercial customers

  • Log records of services for customers and file them appropriately

  • Provide outstanding customer service

  • Communicate effectively with customers and answer questions



  • Minimum of three years' experience providing electrician services

  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted

  • Must be comfortable working in tight spaces and extreme hot and cold conditions

  • Must have a clean driving history

  • Must be willing to work nights and weekends for on-call and emergency service availability.

  • Complete and thorough knowledge of all data materials and tools.

  • Complete all data tasks independently.

  • Skilled at terminating and pulling all types of data/cable wiring – Cat 4 to Cat 7 and coaxial cable, etc.

  • Familiarity with fiber installations, splicing and testing.

  • Proficiency with rough-in work.

  • Proficiency at conduit bending (1/2 inch to 4 inch) and wire pulling.

  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading.  Ability to do layouts from field sketches.

  • Process paperwork and time and material slips daily and in a timely fashion.

  • Handle on-call work as needed.

  • Proficiency in the installation of buss feeders, switchgear installation and termination.  Skilled at layout and preparation for installation and the performance of underground layout and rough-in.  Knowledge of wire and conduit sizing.

  • Professionally and timely communication with customers and field professionals regarding the scope of service calls.

  • Maintain clean work areas.  Ensure that materials, tools, and equipment are maintained in an orderly and safe fashion.

  • Communicate with other employees and management in a professional manner.

  • Conform to company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.



  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Four (4) years’ electrical and data experience or appropriate training experience.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • OSHA 10-hour certification, preferred.

  • Strong electrical and data parts knowledge.

  • Proven computer skills especially Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relations abilities.

  • Positively identify colors of wires.

  • Thread all sizes of conduit.  Bend conduit with hand benders.

  • Maintain a set of personal tools as required by the company tool list.

  • Skilled use of all power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders and knockout punches.

  • Capable of digging trenches, either by use of hand tools or power equipment.

  • Operate two (2) handed tools/equipment, cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools and jack hammers.

  • Operate company trucks with manual and automatic transmission.

  • Operate and work from mechanical lifts (electric or gas powered.)

  • Operate equipment (e.g. trenchers and backhoes) in a skilled and safe manner.

  • Working knowledge of the most current National Electric Code (NEC) and NFPA70E.

  • Position requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain and snow.

  • Jobsite visits may require lifting not to exceed 50 pounds, standing, bending, reaching, squatting, crawling, balancing, pushing, pulling and climbing for extended periods of time.  Constantly moving on feet.

  • Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers.  Completing overhead work for full day assignments.

  • Possess good vision (normal or corrected).

  • Work from all types of ladders (step ladders up to 14’, “A” frame ladders and all size extension ladders and carry and relocate up to 12’ step ladder by one’s self).

  • Employee’s personal weight and personal tools cannot exceed weight limit of ladder (Class1, 250 lbs., Class 1A, 300 lbs.)

  • Perform work at various heights, up to 60’ from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, cat-walks or other safe work areas

  • Work in restricted areas (switcher) room, manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, attics.

  • Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety toe shoes, safety glasses, safety vest, gloves) at all times.

  • Ability to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime as required and night shifts.

  • Travel periodically to local, in-state and out-of-state jobsites.
