SAFETY

A CULTURE OF SAFETY

At the Hayden Power Group, proper safety procedures are meticulously followed throughout all stages in the planning and execution of all our jobs, regardless of size or perceived importance. Essentially, safety comes before everything we do.

Safety is never taken for granted at the Hayden Power Group. And we have the awards to prove it. We have a dedicated Safety Director and Training Coordinator, who oversees all aspects of safety and training. Through our partnership with OSHA, we are committed to everyone’s safety and well-being.

All of our employees go through an extensive safety orientation on their first day, and field personnel receives updated training in lockout/tagout, confined space, NFPA 70E, and mobile elevated work platforms (MEWP). Some of our field personnel are also trained in Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA). Our field technicians are OSHA 10 certified, and our foremen are OSHA 30 and First Aid, AED, and CPR certified. Our company boasts a state-certified safety committee, and our project managers, safety director, foremen, and team leaders assess each project before work begins to identify and mitigate any potential hazards. Additionally, a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) is completed every day at each job site to ensure any potential safety issues are identified and discussed with the team.

As an example of our commitment to safety, we hold an annual company-wide safety day where we provide training, education, equipment, and safety information to all of our employees.

At the Hayden Power Group, we take great pride in knowing that we do everything we can to ensure the safest possible environment for our employees, contractors, business owners, industry representatives, and homeowners.
